How to use

Setup

1. Go to Safari > Settings > Extensions, enable TabBack (check the box to the left of TabBack), then click ‘Always Allow on Every Website’.

   TabBack requires permission to access "webpage contents and browsing history" solely to enable tab previews. Your data, including browsing history, is never collected.

2. Go to TabBack Settings and register your shortcut.

   If the app is not working, try restarting Safari while TabBack is running, then restart TabBack.

Usage

• Press your shortcut once to quickly go back to the previous tab.
• Hold your modifier key(s) (⌃, ⌥, and/or ⌘) while tapping the non-modifier key to cycle through recent tabs.
• Press your reverse shortcut to cycle through recent tabs in reverse.
• Press Esc to cancel tab switching.
• You can also use your cursor to select a tab in the tab switcher.
